Welcome to ScentStack ("App", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), a fragrance collection and layering application and website operated by The ScentStack LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and visit our website at TheScentStack.com.

By using ScentStack, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App and website.

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Email address — collected when you join our waitlist, purchase a digital product, or register for an account, and used for authentication, order delivery, and account management
• Name — optionally collected when you join the waitlist
• Fragrance collection data — the fragrances you add to your personal collection, stacks you build and save, and related preferences (app users only)

When you use the App or visit our website, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device information — device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
• Usage data — features you interact with, screens you visit, actions you take within the App, and frequency of use
• Crash reports and performance data — to help us identify and fix issues

We do not collect:

• Payment information — payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your payment card data
• Location data
• Contacts or photos from your device
• Any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Deliver digital products you have purchased
• Send waitlist and early access communications
• Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features
• Power fragrance recommendations and stack suggestions through our proprietary FragEngine algorithm
• Sync your collection and saved stacks across devices
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
• Communicate with you about account-related matters
• Comply with legal obligations

ScentStack uses the following third-party services that may receive or process your information:

We use Supabase for database storage and user authentication. Your email address, account credentials, and app data (collection, stacks) are stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the us-east-1 region. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

We use Loops to manage our waitlist and send email communications. When you join the waitlist, your email address and name (if provided) are transmitted to Loops. Loops' privacy policy is available at loops.so/privacy.

We use Stripe to process payments for digital product purchases. When you purchase a product, your payment information is transmitted directly to and processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

We use AWS to deliver digital product download links via email (Amazon SES) and to store product files (Amazon S3). Order delivery data passes through AWS infrastructure.

We intend to offer Google sign-in as an authentication option. When enabled, Google may receive information related to your authentication request. We do not receive or store your Google password. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Supabase, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ScentStack is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

• Access — the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — the right to request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion — the right to request deletion of your personal information
• Portability — the right to receive your data in a portable format
• Unsubscribe — you may opt out of waitlist or marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email
